Alec Baldwin, 65, jokes about being ‘old and gray’ during ‘haircut day’ with all four of his young sons in NYC
When you have seven children, it turns out that you do as many things as possible in groups.
And on Saturday, actor Alec Baldwin used that strategy when he brought along all four sons he shares with his wife. Hilaria Baldwin to the barbershop.
The longtime Hollywood leading man, 65, kept his sense of humor about being an older father with young children as he shared a photo of the Baldwin boys together with their new haircuts.
“Well…I'm old and gray. But you get it,” he began in the caption. “Hair day with NJ and the gang at @thekinsmanbarbershop.”
The Academy Award-nominated actor ended up taking the kids to their favorite barbershop, The Kinsman, in the heart of Downtown Manhattan's West Village.
Alec Baldwin, 65, turned Saturday into “hair day” when he took all four of his sons he shares with wife Hilaria Baldwin, 39, to The Kinsman barbershop in New York City's West Village
The adorable photo shows the proud dad, with his own new haircut, leaning behind his boys.
The eldest of the couple, Rafael, eight, stood to the side and smiled seriously at the camera while the youngest, Eduardo, three, got playful as he stood in front of his brothers.
Complementing the Baldwin boys' day out with their dad in the big city are Leonardo, seven, and Romeo, five, who were right in the middle of the pack.
While the 30-year-old rock star spent quality time with his boys, wife Hilaria was at their New York City home with the couple's three daughters: Carmen, 10, Maria, two, and Ilaria, one.
Just two days earlier, the acclaimed actor showed off his rugged pre-hair look as he posed with his wife on the red carpet for the American Museum of Natural History's 2023 Museum Gala.
With his hair falling over his forehead, the Amityville, New York, native looked handsome and dapper in a classic black suit, white button-up and a bow tie for a night out.
Hilaria, 39, stunned in a two-tone dress, featuring a long-sleeved black sequin top and princess pink ruffled bottoms.
The Baldwins, who celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary last June, are reportedly in talks about a possible reality show starring their extended family.
The last time the Baldwin boys all got their haircuts was in late August, when they went back to school; they are pictured in front of The Kinsman in the West Village
Baldwin sported a bit of a shaggy haircut when he and his wife Hilaria attended the American Museum of Natural History's Museum Gala on Thursday, two days before his 'hair day'
The Baldwins are reportedly considering whether to do a reality show focused on their extended family in New York
“They are excited but would only do it if it was an authentic representation of who they are as a family,” an insider revealed People. 'The children all have such lovely personalities and Hilaria and Alec know how much interest there is in their lives.'
That source claims that Alec and Hilaria both “like the idea of giving people a behind-the-scenes look at raising a large family.”
The possibility of a reality series for the Baldwin family first came up on SiriusXM's Let's Talk Off Camera podcast when Alec told host Kelly Ripa that they were considering pitches due to the couple's large brood.
'It's all about my family. I've really tried in recent years when we had five, then six, then seven children. I can't go anywhere for an extended period of time,” he explained of his difficulty leaving New York for a job.
Baldwin, who is actually a father of eight, also has daughter Ireland Baldwin, 27, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
