Aldi is gearing up to release its highly anticipated Christmas seafood lineup, with plenty of lobster and salmon on the menu starting at $5.
The German supermarket has announced that eight item seafood assortment, including lobster tails, tiger prawns, scallops, and a side of salmon from October 26.
Ranging in price from $5 to $34.99, the frozen feasts can now be stocked to save money and beat the rush for fresh fish during the holiday season.

The range includes cult favorites such as lobster tails for $34.99, Australian tiger prawns for $24.99, scallops with maple-flavored bacon for $12.99, smoked salmon and cream cheese canapes for $4.99.
There are scallops with Provencal herb butter for $13.99, salmon side with Toscana herb crust for $19.99 and salmon wellington with cheese and dill sauce for $12.99
All new $4.99 lobster canapes will also be released.
The offer came at the right time, as research from Aldi suggests that three-quarters of Aussies expect their spending to increase significantly in the eight weeks leading up to Christmas, with an average cost increase of 75 percent.
Forty-four percent of shoppers believe that Christmas is the most important time to shop smart.
Aldi stocks two types of scallops: scallops with maple-flavored bacon ($12.99) and scallops with provencal herb butter ($13.99)

There is a seafood option for every budget in this range and we are confident that each product will impress diners and ask for seconds or even thirds.”
The products are part of the Ocean Royale range. The salmon wellington with cheese and dill sauce is a filling and easy meal and costs only $12.99
