‘This Pad Thai is great, better than a restaurant. Will definitely buy this again,” added another.
But it has become so popular that it is sold out and much harder to find.
“Last time I was there I tried looking for it, but couldn’t find it.”
‘I’m looking forward to trying this!! In SA and haven’t been to our local Aldi yet,’ said another.
“I haven’t seen them in WA,” said a third.
But while there’s been a lot of fanfare for the $14.99 version, Aldi’s $8.99 version has been slammed.
Aldi’s Chicken Pad Thai at $9 for the package was a huge disappointment. Based on the packaging and price, I was expecting chicken, not just noodles and sauce,” said one disgruntled customer.
‘I’m a little confused that there’s no chicken? The bag says “Chicken Pad Thai – Antibiotic Free Chicken” on the bag,’ said another after also failing to find the key ingredient.
