Aldi Australia drops range of ‘fakeaway’ budget meals starting from 99c to combat cost of living surge
Aldi Australia has launched a new range of budget meals and sides to save shoppers from high takeaway bills and hours spent standing over a stove.
The retail giant’s new range of no-fuss ‘fakeaway’ dinners will be available for a limited time in the spring.
Aldi’s new cheap menu was introduced to combat the raging cost of living crisis.
Shoppers can treat themselves to tasty dishes including Cauliflower Buffalo Wings ($4.99), Miso Soup Noodles ($2.99) and a ‘Mighty Meat’ pizza ($9.99).
Other cuisines include Italian, French, German, Tex-Mex and Asian dumplings, pizza, parmis, spring rolls and much more up for grabs.

Aldi’s new range also includes chicken schnitzel with lemon and herb crumble ($7.49), Greek-style chicken wraps for two ($14.99) and cheeseburger spring rolls ($4.99).
Shoppers with a sweet tooth will be thrilled to discover the wide range of decadent desserts coming to stores.
From French macarons ($8.99) to cheesecake cookies ($2.99), the range will also see the return of fan favorites dark chocolate dipped mango ($3.99) and white mill cake in a mug (99c).
