A man and a woman have been found dead in a house, suspected of murder-suicide.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 70s were found with gunshot wounds on Jambaroo Street at Albany Creek, north of Brisbane, at 5.30pm on Sunday.
“A crime scene remains on the property and investigations into the circumstances of their deaths are ongoing,” a Queensland Police spokesperson said.
‘Investigators are appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything in the Jambaroo Street area before 5.30pm to come forward.
“There is no threat to the community.”

The pair knew each other.
A neighbor said the man and woman had lived on the street for a long time.
“They’ve been here as long as I’ve been here, at least 20 years,” he said.
‘I always walk past the house, but I have never spoken to them, there is always someone at the front.
“You’re always yelling at each other.”
The house was bordered by the neighbor who described it as strange.
“There’s rubbish all the time, everywhere,” he said.
‘The air conditioning is always on and there is all kinds of foil on the windows.’
