In the doorbell video, which has been viewed nearly 19 million times, the animal remains motionless for a long moment before shaking its head like a dog, causing its antlers to fall off.

The animal seemed frightened for the moment, and ran off to the other side of the yard, leaving a piece of itself behind.

“She got scared to death, that’s for sure, she ran the other way,” Tyra said. Alaska’s New Spring.

The lightened charge so startled the animal that it ran off, leaving its antlers behind.

The antlers are so big that her three-month-old son, Thrasher, can fit perfectly on most of them.

As for the moose, he got his courage back and returned to the property after the incredible moment to chew on some trees, according to Chance.

It is normal for moose to shed their antlers between December and March, according to the University of Missouri.

After a male elk sheds his antlers, new growths start right away, but they don’t always show right away.

As they begin to grow, their horns become covered in ‘velvet’ and, by summer, shed, leaving a more polished appearance. Throughout the fall, during the breeding season, their horns harden and are often used to fight other males. And as winter sets in, it begins to loosen and eventually fade, according to the University of Missouri.

The antlers measure approximately 51 inches from the widest part when placed side by side.
