The You Oughta Know was photographed arriving for her guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she was greeted by a swarm of people.
Morissette, 49, smiled as she walked to the entry doors of Studio 6B at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
The Ottawa, Ontario, Canada native looked rockstar chic in black vinyl pants, a matching jacket over a black T-shirt and hot pink sneakers.
She also had a light black jacket that she wore as she left the studio after her spot with Fallon.

On this evening, the superstar musician styled her dark brown locks in loose layers and added a sexy smokey eyeshadow look.
The Jagged Little Pill artist was led from her vehicle to the studio doors with the help of her handlers and Tonight Show security.
She was also photographed after the talk show and appeared jovial to reunite with her admirers on the sidewalk.
Although Morissette released ten studio albums during her illustrious career, it is her third record, Jagged Little Pill (1995), that she will forever be known for for its incredible success.
The alternative rock-oriented album contained six hit songs, including You Oughta Know, Hand In My Pocket, You Learn, Ironic, Head Over Feet and All I real Want.
The music and lyrics for the now classic album were a stylistic departure from the dance-pop sound of her first two releases Alanis (1991) and Now Is The Time (1992).

Morissette's studio album, Jagged Little Pill, became a worldwide phenomenon, selling more than 33 million copies and being adapted into a rock musical of the same name.
Over the years, Jagged Little Pill sold more than 33 million copies worldwide, and was even adapted into a rock musical of the same name in 2017 that initially played at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
It also began previews for a Broadway version but had to close in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It reopened on October 21, 2021 and closed on December 17 of that same year, going on to win two awards out of 15 nominations at the 74th Tony Awards in New York City.
Morissette was recently on tour following the release of her latest album The Storm Before the Calm (2022).
She is teaming up with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and Morgan Wade for The Triple Moon Tour which kicks off on June 9, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona and runs for 31 shows until August 10 in Los Angeles.
