Alan Carr has exclusively confirmed to MailOnline that he is back on the market following his reported split from toyboy boyfriend Callum Heslop.
The comedian, 47, who dated the hairdresser, 27, for two months, joked that he was now looking for a “fat rugby player to throw him around” or a “chubby fighter” who suffered from “a low self image’. ‘.
MailOnline spoke to Alan at the Opening Night press event at the Gielgud Theatre, London, where he said: ‘I’m single again, b****y single’.
The funnyman previously married Paul Drayton in 2018, with boyfriend Adele as their officiant, before announcing their split in January 2022 after 13 years together.
Speaking about his type, Alan joked: ‘I’m looking for a rugby boy. I like them big and fat, fat everywhere. If you understand what I’m saying’.

When asked if he wanted them to use their strength in the passionate throws, Alan laughed: “They need a lot of me to throw around, they need a digger, a bucket or a winch.”
But despite his hopes of finding love, the TV personality admitted he wasn’t currently using dating sites: ‘How can I go on Grindr? I’m taking it easy at the moment. Do you really want this face to show up on a (dating) app?’.
He also went on to speak about his upcoming projects and revealed that his sitcom Changing Ends would return to ITV on April 16.
As well as a brand new series from the Italian Job with girlfriend Amanda Holden in which the duo will soon renovate a house in the sun to start filming.
Telling MailOnline: ‘(Me and Amanda are) flying out at the end of April – end of next month, and we’ve found a house and we’re going to do it up. I can not wait’.
Alan then admitted that despite his time in Italy he was still struggling to master the language: ‘It’s the third year now and I don’t know anything. All I know is pene, which means penis, so that comes in handy.”
He also said he hoped to one day see his chat show Chatty Man, which aired on Channel 4 between 2007 and 2019, return for a new series.
Gushing: ‘I look back at that show and see all the clips on TikTok – Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna and Lady Gaga’s very first performance in Britain.’

‘I hope it comes back. It would be nice too, but there is a time and a place. I don’t think anyone has the budgets.’
Callum is a celebrity hairdresser and colourist who owns a salon in Knutsford, Cheshire, and has over eight years of professional salon experience.
He has high-profile Instagram followers including Alan’s good friend Amanda Holden, Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan, Charlotte Dawson and Love Island’s Molly Smith.
Alan was seen making a cozy appearance with Callum during a series of recent outings, with the pair becoming Instagram official.
The comedian shared a photo of himself partying with salon owner Callum at Mariah Carey’s Christmas concert on social media in November.
Alan also posted a photo of Callum posing with his hand on his knee as they joined their friends at a lavish dinner in August, while they also hugged at the Attitude Awards in recent weeks.
It comes next revealed he no longer wears his wedding ring – two years after splitting from husband Paul.

Adele paid for their wedding, which took place at the singer’s home in California, and the star got dedicated for the occasion, sharing a photo of herself in front of a huge flower wall
When asked about it, Alan replied: ‘No, not love, that’s not going on anymore’, but jokingly added: ‘I do have my c**k ring on.’
Alan also said he is taking part in Dry January and said: ‘I’m doing so well. A little alcohol hasn’t reached my lips!’
Alan and Paul confirmed their split in January 2022 with a joint statement.
Paul then posted on Instagram that he was in rehab for alcoholism at the time, after a “challenging few years” during which he pleaded guilty to drunk driving.
They were married in 2018 by Adele at her California home, with the singer paying for their special day as a gift.
He explained that he “proactively” checked into rehab in early 2022 to seek help for his ongoing battle with the disease.
