Former Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a hat-trick on Friday as Al-Hilal staged a stunning comeback to beat Al-Ittihad 4-3.
The hosts entered the game as Saudi League champions and had not dropped a point so far this season.
It looked like their form would continue as Brazil captain Romarinho opened the scoring after just sixteen minutes.
Mitrovic equalized minutes later, but goals from top signing Karim Benzema and Abderrazak Hamdallah put Ittihad 3–1 up at half time.

Jorge Jesus’ side did not drop their heads, however, as Mitrovic scored two more goals in five minutes to level the scores with 25 minutes remaining.
Nasser Al-Dawsari then completed the turnaround with a 71st-minute winner to take his side to the top of the Pro League.
Al-Hilal are the only team to remain undefeated, with four wins and a draw from their first five games.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are trailing just one point after taking four victories before Friday’s setback.
