AJ Pritchard’s influencer girlfriend Zara Zoffany left terrified after being ‘forced to fight off phone snatchers’ who targeted her and a pal: ‘I was screaming!’

AJ Pritchard girlfriend Zara Zoffany has said she was terrified after being targeted by a gang of phone robbers during an outing in London on Wednesday.

The influencer, 30, who has been dating the ex-Strictly star, 29, since 2022, took to her Instagram Stories and admitted she was still ‘shaken up’ after the incident.

Zara claimed the two men targeted herself and a friend as they drank coffee, but luckily ‘listening to her gut’ and being on her guard stopped the crime after she shouted and scared the pair.

In the clip, she said, “I’m still a little shocked, but let me try to put this into words. You know, when you have a gut feeling and you don’t listen to it, and then that happens, that’s exactly what just happened to me.”

‘I met a friend on Tottenham Court Road in Starbucks and told myself this isn’t the safest place ‘don’t use your phone, take care of your belongings’, but ultimately thought it would be fine.

‘We showed each other pictures on our phones, showing each other’s lives and her children. It took seven years to catch up. The next minute these two guys come along and put papers in our faces and get super close to my face.

Zara continued: ‘I knew straight away what was going to happen so I grab our phones and start shouting, saying ‘what are you doing, f*** off’.

‘I look around and everyone stayed quiet, but [the two men] got scared and ran away.’

She captioned the slip: “Moral of the story is: listen to your gut. I hope everyone was in shock and that’s why no one said anything. So happy to be with my friend and nothing serious happened or taken away.

“It strangely felt like an adrenaline rush/small victory, but that wouldn’t have been the case if anything had been taken away. Another reminder to always stay alert and keep your phone out of sight.”

It comes after AJ’s ex Abbie Quinnen, 27, hit out at him as she posed up a storm in a sexy costume for Halloween.

The model and the Strictly dancer were together for four years before AJ ‘dumped’ Abbie after finding messages from another woman.

And now the beauty is letting her Halloween costume do the talking by taking to Instagram to share a carousel of sizzling photos dressed as a sultry cheetah.

She showed off her stunning figure in a figure-hugging backless cheetah print bodysuit that left little to the imagination.

The star took the look to the next level with barbed wire stockings, long lace gloves, brown heeled boots and a cheetah ear headband.

She captioned the photo, “I’m dressing up as my ex for Halloween this year.”

MailOnline contacted an AJ representative for comment at the time.

Abbie and AJ split in September 2022 after she found text messages from another woman on his phone.

Speak with The sun about her break-up, Abbie said: ‘I’m absolutely devastated and my world has fallen apart. AJ is not the person I thought he was. After everything I’ve been through with him, I thought we would be together forever.

‘He has been the biggest disappointment for me. This has affected my self-confidence after my accident and I now have to rebuild myself. AJ was my world and I didn’t recognize the man who broke up with me.’

Abbie continued, “I kept asking him about the girl from the messages but the minute I brought her up he completely changed. Just a few weeks ago AJ and I went on a romantic holiday to Turkey, it was so beautiful.’

Their divorce came a year after Abbie suffered serious burns when a viral social media stunt went wrong.

She was involved in a freak fire accident that occurred while she was filming a YouTube video with her then-boyfriend AJ, in which they attempted to turn a wine bottle into a vase.

Abbie said the injuries required her and AJ to have therapy sessions and she once found him ‘crying hysterically’ as he struggled with the aftermath.

The professional dancer required three skin grafts after her 2021 YouTube skit went wrong and her hair, skin and face went up in flames.

Speaking about Lorraine in 2022, she said: ‘It completely blew up and I was engulfed in flames. I didn’t know if I would ever look the same again if I got my movement back.

‘The burn unit took such good care of me. I felt like I looked horrible and if AJ or my family saw me it would break their hearts. I was ashamed of how I looked. It was a lot of trauma.

Despite the traumatic experience, Abbie explained that she did not need further surgery and that she “felt so much better” as she regained her confidence.
