AJ Odudu looks sensational in sparkly mesh jumpsuit as she wows for the Big Brother launch alongside Will Best

AJ Odudu looked sensational as she served up her first glamorous look of the series for the launch of Big Brother.

The original social experiment, which sees 16 strangers living together and admitted to a custom-built home 24 hours away, opened on Sunday night, following the huge success of last year’s reboot series.

And AJ, 36, wowed in a sparkling black jumpsuit as she opened the show alongside fellow co-host Will Best.

The presenter showed off her incredible physique in the show-stopping number, which also featured mesh cut-out details and glittering tassels.

AJ and Will, 39, appeared to coordinate their outfits as he also incorporated black glitter into a sequined jacket.

Last year’s series saw AJ become known for her incredible range of jumpsuits after impressing with the selection of colorful PVC ensembles for the ITV show.

Viewers were treated to a glimpse of the Big Brother house earlier this week, which has had a psychedelic makeover since the last series.

With a striking new color scheme and a renewed interior, housemates can enjoy a luxury kitchen and a jacuzzi, as well as a very unique diary room chair.

For the show’s second time on ITV2, the chair has undergone a massive makeover and is given a very vibrant new look to match the rest of the house.

It looks like it has been drenched in paint and follows a rainbow color scheme of yellow, pink, orange, red and blue.

It has a soft blue seat and the splash of paint extends dramatically to the floor of this year’s piece.

It comes after last year’s The Big Brother chair was shaped like an eye, with an orange seat and accents in red and blue.

When the participants entered the new house, they were met a neon orange and yellow staircase with giant paint splatters as they took their first steps inside.

Meanwhile, the new living room has a bright orange and red theme, with a huge yellow sofa where all the new housemates will gossip this weekend.

The bathroom has also undergone a transformation with the old blue sea theme replaced by deep green and hot pink tones, with a round bath.

Elsewhere, the kitchen has the same layout, with a huge breakfast bar in the centre, but the old white brickwork has been covered in blue tiles and a matching round bar now sits in the center, with gold accents.

And while the house is ready to go, it looks like the show could have a chaotic opening as both presenters have suffered from ailments ahead of Sunday night’s launch show.

This year’s launch was initially thrown into doubt after it was revealed that both presenters AJ and Will, who are retuning for a second series, are both suffering from individual illnesses.

He explained that he had been affected by a ‘stiff neck’, meaning he has difficulty moving his head, and had been forced to visit an emergency physiotherapist.

Speaking to presenters Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby, Will explained: ‘Yes, I have a stiff neck. Today I’m a little better, yesterday was bad, I have an emergency physio in a few hours.’

Joking about the awkward timing, he added: “It’s always good not to be able to move right before the biggest show of the year, when you go live for six weeks, with all kinds of crazy stuff.

“So I’m sorry Chris, I can’t really look at you [laughs]you’re on the wrong side!’

Sian then joked: ‘That’s why we bought you a swivel chair, so you can move your whole body,’ prompting Will to joke back: ‘I can just present the live show on one of these!’

However, he added that he couldn’t even lean on his co-host for support as AJ has “lost her voice.”

Will said: ‘AJ has lost her voice too, yeah sorry, I saw her yesterday, we recorded a podcast. That’s why she’s not doing radio today!’

He admitted he was ‘nervous’ about the live launch, but insisted it was down to his love for the show and his desire to ensure everything went smoothly.

He explained, “Yes, of course I get nervous because I love this show so much, so I’m nervous that we’re going to do it justice, the format justice, I’m nervous how the housemates are going to do it.

‘But once we get to Sunday, just before we go live, the nerves more or less disappear. I can’t wait to meet these people.’
