In June this year, it was announced that Graham Norton would be hosting the new reboot of Wheel of Fortune.
The 60-year-old talk show star will join the likes of Nicky Campbell, Bradley Walsh, John Leslie and Paul Hendry as frontman of the returning game show, which originally aired from 1988 to 2001.
In a statement, he said: 'I'm beyond excited to bring such an iconic American show to a new British audience.
'My very first TV job was a game show on ITV, so this feels like I've come full circle. You could even call it a wheel!'
As always, the program will focus on a giant fairground wheel with participants hoping to win some big cash prizes.
In June this year, it was announced that Graham Norton would be hosting the new reboot of Wheel of Fortune
The show, which has been a staple of American television since its launch in 1975, was previously presented by John Leslie and Nicky Campbell when it aired between 1988 and 2001 (Nicky Campbell and his co-host Carol Smillie pictured in 1988)
The ITV series also made stars of Jenny Powell, Carol Smillie and Simon Cowell's ex Terri Seymour (John Leslie pictured with Terri Seymour in 2000)
The ladies would serve as glamorous assistants on the show as they helped reveal the invisible letters (Jenny Powell and Bradley Walsh pictured in 1997)
As ITV teases, the show is a game of skill and luck, and each spin of the famous wheel will award a certain amount of money before the player chooses a letter to try to solve a puzzle.
However, it is a double-edged sword, as the wheel can also cause participants to 'go bankrupt' or 'lose a turn'.
Katie Rawcliffe – head of entertainment commissioning at ITV – added: “We're thrilled that the much-loved Graham Norton is bringing this iconic game show to our viewers.
'Anything can happen by turning a wheel, it will be so much fun.'
