Two young tourists have shared their horror after discovering that an AirBnb they’d booked in Portland, Oregon, was full of creepy features, including hidden rooms and peepholes.
Tierra Burris and Scarlet Wolf paid $3,500 to stay in the house for two weeks, but say their dream stay turned into a nightmare almost immediately.
After being given the property’s wrong address, the girls admitted that they thought the house was “gorgeous” – before realizing they couldn’t even use the front door.
But things went from bad to worse as more and more hair-raising problems – including an extra back door key hidden outside – popped up as they explored the house.

The video, which has been viewed nearly five million times on TikTok, began with the girls praising the home’s kitchen as “gorgeous, beautiful, amazing,” aside from the lack of blinds on the windows.
After noticing the “weird” alarm system on the front door that they are not allowed to use, Burris told them to use the back door instead, which opens into a bedroom. Although they were given a key, she said they horrifically found another key outside, which also opened the door.
In a follow-up video, she said the host of the house also claimed to have no knowledge of the hidden key.
“Now let’s go to object number one to highlight it,” Burris continued. “There are strange tunnels, holes and roads leading to this house.”

With Wolf by her side, the two seemed to see the funny side as she walked around the house, laughing as they pointed out numerous creepy amenities. At one point, a particularly spooky peephole was found downstairs.
“This one, in particular, has a large open space big enough for a human next to the closet that goes into the bedroom,” she said, demonstrating the large hole that appeared to be purpose built.
While showing off one of the house’s many sinister spaces, Burris says, “And then there’s that man-sized tunnel. A man-sized tunnel. Mind you, we’re now in Portland, Oregon, where an active serial killer is on the loose.’
Her references to a serial killer were likely about Jesse Lee Calhoun, who police say is an “interested person” in the disappearances of four women in Oregon.
When the two went upstairs to show more chilling aspects of the property, they pointed out several doors that previously appeared to have locks on the outside.
A small wooden block turned ‘quite regularly’ was used as a lock in the cellar
Numerous corners of the house had secret tunnels and rooms, because the girls said they didn’t even dare set foot in the hidden spaces. Burris said the basement was the “worst part,” where another hidden room was found.
“This door leads to god knows where there used to be a lock on the outside. There’s just a little wooden block that was rotated quite regularly to keep it closed with an open vent above it,” she said.
Many expressed concern for the girls after sharing the video, with one person commenting, “Once I found the other key, I would have been out of there.”
“I’d pack up and leave,” said another, while a third added, “I’m mostly worried about the extra key outside and the room with a peephole into the bedroom?”
After finding countless secret rooms, tunnels and creepy items, they struggled to even get their money back from AirBnb despite saying they feared for their lives. Burris shared a separate video saying they eventually got a full refund.
