Air New Zealand flight to Sydney declares a mid-air emergency
An Air New Zealand flight from Auckland to Sydney suffered a mid-air emergency.
Flight NZ101 was 45 minutes away from landing at Sydney International Airport when the crew issued the warning at 8.08am on Thursday.
“A medical event occurred this morning on board flight NZ101 from Auckland to Sydney,” an Air New Zealand spokesperson told Ny Breaking Australia.
“For privacy reasons, you will appreciate that we cannot share any further information.”
The flight landed in Sydney just half an hour after the warning was sent, 11 minutes ahead of schedule.
