The 39-year-old actor dated Jenna Coleman, 36, with whom he stars in the upcoming West End play Lemons Lemons Lemons, a revival of the 2015 romantic comedy.
It comes after Aidan and his wife, actress Caitlin FitzGerald, 39, were photographed separately without their wedding rings while out and about in London.

Traveling to the British capital on Saturday, the Poldark star kept it casual in a blue sweater and black trousers as she stowed her essentials in a brown leather bag.
For her part, the former Doctor Who partner dressed in a chocolate trench coat and pants in a lighter tone, along with white sneakers.

Aidan was last photographed with Caitlyn when they enjoyed a night out at Cabaret in October.
Aidan and American star Caitlin tied the knot in August 2020 in an intimate ceremony with just six people in attendance.
Speaking on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, he said: “It was very private, hardly anyone was there.”
“There were six people, but no family and a couple of friends who were already in Italy because it was right in the middle of the lockdown.”

Aidan stars in the play Lemons Lemons Lemons which opens at the nearby Harold Pinter Theater beginning in January.

It comes after Aidan reflected on a now-famous photo of himself posing shirtless in Poldark, saying he never felt ‘objectified’ amid the fan frenzy over the photo.
The actor was photographed shirtless working in the fields with a scythe in one hand while playing Ross Poldark in the BBC historical drama series.
The shirtless scythe scene, which appeared in the first series in 2015, caused a frenzy among fans at the time with viewers taking to social media to comment on the moment.
But Aidan has now said that he never felt ‘objectified’ amid the massive backlash from fans as he reflected on the debate sparked around photography at the time.
He said radio schedules: ‘Was it safer to attach great importance to this photograph because he was a young man? Would he have been treated the same way in the press if he were a young woman? I dont know. Possibly not. But I didn’t feel objectified.
