After almost 500 years of waiting, Lord Ram has returned: Scindia

The Union Minister further emphasized that the country must become a Vishwaguru and every citizen must contribute towards it.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday said that Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after a wait of almost 500 years and this was made possible by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Scindia made the comment while talking to reporters in Gwalior, a day after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram temple held in Ayodhya on Monday.

“After almost 500 years of waiting, Lord Ram has returned to Ayodhya. This was made possible by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Yesterday’s program has increased the faith of 140 crore people in the country and followers of Lord Ram across the world. The world is attached to it. As the Prime Minister said, the foundation stone of the temple was laid in 2019 and the inauguration took place yesterday, but our work starts from yesterday,” Scindia said.

The Union Minister further emphasized that the country must become a Vishwaguru and every citizen must contribute towards it.

“We have to establish our country as a Vishwaguru. Every citizen should contribute on the basis of hard work and effort to establish India as a Vishwaguru. Ram Lalla sat again on Monday, after a wait of 500 years. Many generations have sacrificed their lives and fully contributed to this program. My grandmother herself had also raised her voice and contributed to this program. Today I remember all those great personalities,” he added.

Scindia also said, “Taking note of the supernatural and important development in the history of the country, we will bow down to Lord Rama, accept his blessings and take a pledge to contribute to the development and progress of the state and the nation. “

On Monday, Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha was held at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Ram Lalla idol was unveiled at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony after the hours-long rituals in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who conducted the ceremony.

About 8,000 guests participated in the event, including 1,500 to 1,600 distinguished guests.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is built in traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple display intricately carved images of Hindu deities, deities and goddesses.

In the main sanctum on the ground floor, the child form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) is placed.
