The Geelong Cats midfielder, 34, built the Highton property with her husband Tony in a picturesque setting near the iconic Barwon River.

The property attracted much interest from local families due to its combination of beautiful architecture and convenient location.

Garing said real estate.com.au there were two things she particularly loved about life on the property that she sadly left behind.

“We loved walking and being close to the river, it’s so nice, you can go different directions here and along different running and hiking trails,” she said.

Another highlight of the property is an open plan kitchen and dining area with stunning bushland views through the sliding glass doors.

Its semi-rural location allows residents to enjoy a beautiful bushland setting while being close to a variety of amenities.

Garing added that she designed the home to be perfect for raising kids, as it features a rumpus room, two bathrooms and walk-in closets.

The couple welcomed their son Parker in May last year.
