AFL star Zaine Cordy has tied the knot with his long-time partner and ‘best friend’ Georgia Ringersma in a beautiful country ceremony in Willaura, Victoria.
The couple exchanged their vows this weekend and took to social media a few days later to share a collection of heartwarming photos from their special day.
Georgia looked every bit the radiant bride in a strapless white dress with a flowing train, while Cordy wore a classic black suit and tie.
The couple captioned their post: ‘12.10.24 Married my best friend’, with two white love hearts to mark the occasion.
They exchanged vows in front of their loved ones and shared photos of them looking as in love as ever as they sat at the head table during the outdoor reception.
The couple, who announced their engagement in Daylesford last April, received an outpouring of well wishes from fellow AFL stars and friends on social media.
Bailey Smith, Josh Battle, Cooper Sharman and Chloe Geraerts – the partner of Collingwood player Pat Lipinski – all took to the comments to congratulate the couple.
Footballer Zaine made the big move to St Kilda last year and has played 22 games for the club so far.

He was originally called up by the Western Bulldogs as a father-son selection in 2014 and played 118 games for the club, including being part of the 2016 premiership team.
Now happily married, the defender will soon look to balance married life with his on-field commitments as the 2025 AFL season approaches.
Zaine made headlines in September 2022 when he was branded ‘absolutely embarrassing’ by the AFL after having to be carried to a car during the club’s wild Mad Monday party, leaving him worse for wear.
He was photographed being supported by fellow dogs Tom Liberatore and Josh Dunkley in what Matthew Lloyd described as a ‘terrible look for any competitive footballer’.
“I hated this about Mad Monday at the Western Bulldogs,” he told Nine’s Footy Classified at the time.
“Would you ever see your captain in this condition? Would you ever see [Scott] Pendlebury, Lachie Neale, all the big players? [Christian] Petracca, [Clayton] Olivier?
‘That’s embarrassing, absolutely embarrassing for a league footballer to be in that condition, even at the end-of-season drinks.

‘Be in control. Imagine, you’re a young first-year player looking at that, and he’s been in the system for almost 10 years.”
“They’ve had serious off-field discipline issues over the last few years, the Bulldogs, and that continues to haunt them, doesn’t it?” she said.
Also in attendance at the event in Melbourne were Bulldogs stars Bailey Smith, Marcus Bontempelli, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, Josh Dunkley, Mitch Wallis, Louis Butler, Aaron ‘Astro’ Naughton, Arthur Jones, Anthony Scott and Tom Liberatore.
The party continued into the evening, with a number of players – including Bontempelli – eager to get started, while Smith and a handful of players continued to play pool at the venue.
