Melbourne Demons star Angus Brayshaw has announced his engagement to Danielle Frawley, daughter of AFL great Danny Frawley.
The beloved couple took to Instagram on Thursday to announce their exciting news. “She said yes,” Brayshaw posted alongside a photo of Frawley showing off her engagement ring.
The pair are long-time partners and have known each other since they were kids, with their parents friends for 25 years.
Danny Frawley passed away in 2019 and his wife, Anita, said her daughter and Brayshaw hit it off right away.
“We’ve been family friends for many, many years with Debra and Mark (Brayshaw’s parents, Angus), 20, 25 years ago, and we were at their house in Sandringham many years ago, and Angus and Danielle were there,” she shared to ABC Radio after Melbourne’s grand final victory in 2021.

Brayshaw and Frawley have known each other since childhood and hit it off right away
“Mark and I answered right away. I said, “Here’s a spark, Mark,” and we had a great laugh.
“We have a picture of them when they were seven, and we joke about it now that in those early days we thought something was going to happen.
“He’s a beautiful man.”
