- Jeremy Cameron proposed to his long-term partner on Tuesday
- It’s no surprise that Indiana Putra said yes
- The couple shares a daughter named Macey
Footy superstar Jeremy Cameron has popped the question to his long-term partner Indiana Putra.
Unsurprisingly, Putra, the mother of Cameron’s daughter Macey, said yes.
The couple shared a video of the special moment when Geelong forward Cameron got down on one knee on the beach as Indiana held their child.
The Geelong Advertiser reports that the proposal took place at Rapid Bay Beach in South Australia.
Cats skipper Patrick Dangerfield included a trio of love hearts under the post, and Channel Seven commentator Abbey Holmes congratulated the pair.

Cameron and Putra welcomed Macey last April and said they were “so in love.” She was born just days after Cameron celebrated his 30th birthday.
The Geelong forward joins a number of football stars to tie the knot or get engaged this off-season, with Jaeger O’Meara, Jack Billings and Jordan Dawsn also making the big move.
Cameron had a difficult year in 2023, being hammered after running into teammate Gary Rohan during the Cats’ match against Melbourne.
However, he was able to laugh at himself and posted hilarious photos from his hospital bed while taking painkillers during surgery for an ACL injury.
As he came out of anesthesia for surgery, Cameron – whose nickname is Dart – found his phone nearby and made a hilarious video, slurring his words and bragging with a beaming smile.
“Hey guys, welcome back to Dart’s YouTube channel. “I’m feeling pretty good right now, yeah,” he said.
“Phwoar had an accident, I just wanted to let you know that I fell out of my boat.”
Cameron also shared a photo of himself looking extremely pleased with himself as he ate a well-deserved McDonalds after his surgery.

Cameron realized what he had done and decided to share the footage and photos with his fanbase on Instagram with the caption: ‘Solid day on the tools here. Reminder to hide the phone (laughing emoji). I’m looking forward to feeling 100 percent.’
Cameron is known for posting hilarious videos on his social media channels, including losing his premiership medal to a cow in the aftermath of last year’s grand final celebrations.
He also shared a giddy post at his Geelong estate as he recovered from being chilled by teammate Rohan earlier this season.
