AFL great Dale Thomas has spilled details about his upcoming wedding to long-term lover Natasha Bongiorno.
The 36-year-old is set to marry his PR queen fiancée during a lavish three-day ‘glamping’ party in the small town of Dunkeld, about 283 kilometers west of Melbourne.
Their star-studded guest list includes former Miss Universe Australia Olivia Molly Rogers, footy guru and media star Eddie McGuire and his wife Carla, and Australia’s Next Top Model star Brooke Pitt.
Dale, who goes by the nickname Daisy, told Triple M’s Rush Hour that he chose the theme of ‘glamping’ – a form of luxury camping – because he wanted to create a party atmosphere for the event.
“It’s all about having fun,” he said.

“It’ll be parents, speeches, best man, bridesmaid and then Tash and I and on with the party. Ninety percent (of guests) use glamping, so it should be fine.
Elsewhere in the chat, Dale revealed he had gotten new teeth especially for his wedding.
“New chompers ended up having to get the whole thing done,” he revealed.

The procedure was not entirely cosmetic, as one of his teeth was ‘dead’ in the gums.
“(I had to) pull it, so I rolled all summer without a tooth,” he explained.
“I was honestly so nervous choosing the color, but I was happy with how they turned out.”
The tough-as-nails former AFL champion also revealed a soft side and told fans he had it had already written his wedding vows, which brought him to tears.

Dale made headlines in November 2022 after telling fans on his social media that he had gotten down on his knee to propose to his long-term girlfriend Natasha.

Dale, who came second on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has a daughter, Tilly, from a previous relationship in 2010.
