AFL president Richard Goyder is spending more than $10 million on a luxury Melbourne mansion in South Yarra
AFL president Richard Goyder has reportedly spent $10.43 million on a stunning mansion in one of Melbourne’s most prestigious suburbs.
The sports boss bought the four-bedroom, five-bathroom apartment in June, the newspaper said Herald Sun.
Goyder and his wife Janine have yet to confirm the purchase, after the luxury home was put on the market in May for a price range of $9 million to $9.5 million.
Located in sought-after South Yarra, 5.5km from the CDB, the ultra-modern concrete and marble home features a private lift, swimming pool and six-car garage.
Highlights include a spacious open plan design, multiple living areas and two beautifully appointed home offices.

The high-profile business identity bought the four-bedroom, five-bathroom apartment in South Yarra in June, the Herald Sun reports
There is also a sitting room with gas fireplace and an outdoor dining area.
The main kitchen offers marble features, high-end appliances and a butler’s pantry.
Other features include a multi-zone Denon audio system, a powder room and cloak storage.
There is also an outdoor barbecue kitchen, sundeck and ‘children’s wing’.

Goyder has been chairman of the AFL since 2017 and has held the same role at Qantas and energy company Woodside since 2018.
According to the Herald Sun, Goyder has an extensive property portfolio, with three properties in Western Australia, including a five-bedroom mansion in Perth.
It comes after Goyder made headlines this week after it was announced he would miss the first round of the AFL finals.
The high-flying businessman has chosen to spend time in Broome this weekend to attend his son’s wedding, reports the Adelaide Advertiser.
