Adrien Brody and Harvey Weinstein’s ex-wife Georgina Chapman share a red carpet kiss as smitten couple attend The Brutalist premiere at the 81st annual Venice Film Festival

Adrien Brody and his girlfriend Georgina Chapman look overjoyed at the premiere of The Brutalist at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday.

The 51-year-old American actor and the 48-year-old English fashion designer, who started dating in 2019, were never more than a few inches apart.

Harvey Weinstein’s ex-wife Georgia wore a stunning plunging, jewel-toned indigo blue dress that fell to the floor.

The dress had cape-like sleeves and ranged from opaque to sheer. The dress accentuated Georgia’s figure and was cinched in at the waist.

Adrien’s film The Brutalist tells the story of Laszlo Toth (Adrien), a Hungarian-born Jewish architect who survived the Holocaust.

Other leading roles are played by Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce and Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

For the premiere, Adrien wore a black suit with a black shirt and bow tie.

He wore shiny black shoes and completed his look with a statement silver brooch.

Georgia also wore beautiful silver earrings and rings and completed her look with silver platform heels.

Adrien said he felt an “immediate kinship and understanding with his character and the story.”

His real mother, photographer Sylvia Plachy, was a Hungarian immigrant who fled the anti-Soviet revolution in 1956 to start over and build a life as an artist.

Brody said, “Even though it’s fiction, it feels very real and very genuine to me. That’s so important to me, to embody a character and make it real.”

The Brutalist ran for 215 minutes (with a 15-minute intermission) and was shown in 70mm format. Expectations were high.

Brady wore sunglasses and was emotional as he spoke about the film, which he worked on for seven years.

Georgia also accessorised with silver, featuring gorgeous earrings and rings, and completed her look with silver platform heels.

Georgia was married to disgraced film producer Harvey from 2007 to 2021. Harvey, 72, is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence for sex crimes

Adrien was in a relationship with Chris Hemsworth’s current wife, Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, 48, from 2006 to 2009

The Brutalist is Adrien’s only project of the year, the youngest actor to ever win the Oscar for Best Actor

“This movie does everything we’ve been told not to do,” Brady said, adding that conversations about running time are “stupid.”

“I’ve read great novellas, I’ve read great multi-volume masterpieces,” Brady said.

“Maybe the next thing I do will be about 45 minutes, and I should be allowed to do that. … As Harmony Korine once said, cinema is stuck in the birth canal. And I agree with him.”

Brady wrote the script with his wife Mona Fastvold, who is also a filmmaker. Brady thanked the Venice Film Festival for its support.
