I was minding my own business when I copped an awful comment about my outfit from a stranger walking by – but I don’t see the problem

A young Australian was left stunned when a stranger yelled at him in a park over his choice of clothing.

Melbourne native Adriana soaked up the sun on Saturday afternoon, wearing a red V-neck summer dress that covered most of her body except her arms.

As I was sitting on a park bench before going to lunch, an old lady walked by. She saw her bare chest and said, “Oh, take them off.”

The 31-year-old was shocked by the rude comment and found the wrap dress ‘mediocre’.

“I left the house thinking I looked pretty good in an outfit that I would consider far from vulgar, but you can’t please everyone so you have to be able to laugh at these kinds of things,” Adriana told FEMAIL.

‘I just went about my day and didn’t pay much attention to it after that.’

Shortly after Adriana a video in which he describes the strange event in detail and hits back at the comment by saying, “Ma’am, we’re in a recession. Everyone’s miserable. I’m doing a public service by looking so good.”

“A plunging neckline is the least of society’s problems right now. I’m here to make people’s day better,” the caption read.

Adriana, better known as Dopamine Daydreamer on TikTok, said she never found the outfit controversial or inappropriate.

The young Australian woman said this is not the first time someone has commented on her body or what she wears.

“I’m used to people commenting on my body. It’s been happening since puberty,” she says.

‘I’ve always been noticed for my height and curves and have been present online on various platforms my entire adult life.

“It’s not often that people are rude to my appearance in real life, but it has definitely happened.”

“I left the house thinking I looked good in an outfit that I would consider anything but vulgar,” she said.

Adriana’s short video has now been viewed more than 75,000 times and don’t let the negativity undermine her self-confidence.

“At this point in my life, I’m sure it’s always a reflection of that person’s insecurity, much more than the fact that that person is being trolled or booed,” she said.

‘As we can see, in this case it inspired a funny piece of content that sent me viral, and I continue to get laughs with my sarcastic video responses to some of the trolls in the comments. Is it crazy to say I’m having fun with it?’
