Adrian ‘Mr Lambo’ Portelli turns the tables on home invader with unbelievable act after catching thugs breaking into his $40million penthouse

Billionaire Adrian Portelli has given a brazen intruder a taste of his own medicine after he caught two criminals breaking into his $40 million penthouse.

Mr Portelli, known online as Mr Lambo, decided to turn the tide and visited his home on Tuesday.

“We are standing in front of one of the houses of the man who broke into the penthouse,” he posted on his Instagram account at 2:30 a.m.

‘He continues to be a smart asshole online, so I finally found his address. I went to his house and knocked on his door.

‘He showed his face and sprinted to his room. Come on buddy! If you want to show up at people’s houses uninvited, I’ll do the same to you. F***ing weak dog.’

Portelli then uploaded a photo of two Victoria Police cars.

“We are making progress. Burglaries need to be taken more seriously in this country,” the Young Rich Lister captioned the photo.

One of the intruders messaged on Instagram, offering to work for the billionaire for free in an attempt to make amends.

“I’m sorry. I know it was the wrong thing to do. I was aiming for the roof and I apologize for invading your space,” the man wrote.

“I would like to work for you for free for the next month to right my wrongs.”

This came after Portelli was forced to deny that the burglary was a ‘publicity stunt’.

CCTV footage of the break-in shows two men entering the penthouse in Melbourne’s CBD and inspecting one of Portelli’s luxury cars.

“It’s absolutely not intentional. I have better things to do,” Portelli told A Current Affair on Monday, adding that he feels “unsafe” following the incident.

“The fact that there are people walking around the building who shouldn’t be there is a concern for everyone,” he said.

A police spokesperson confirmed that an investigation has been launched into a ‘trespassing incident’.

“It is believed two male offenders gained entry to a residence between 11pm on Sunday 25 August and 2am on Monday 26 August,” a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.

This is not the first break-in at Portelli this year.

In February, he offered a huge reward to anyone who could identify the group of suspected thieves who broke into his office and left empty-handed.

Portelli shared two CCTV videos of the group in his North Melbourne office after the unsuspecting thieves entered through a smashed window.

The 35-year-old is best known online for giving away thousands of dollars through his LMCT+ savings plan and for bidding on properties through The Block.

He previously admitted that he has lost count of the number of luxury cars he owns.

Portelli was included in the AFR Young Rich List in 2023 with an estimated net worth of $1.03 billion.
