Mercy’s unique name pays tribute to one of the first luxury cars Portelli purchased: a rare orange Lamborghini Murcielago, valued at more than $700,000.
The car enthusiast gave a subtle hint about his son’s name on social media by posting a photo of baby Mercy on top of the supercar, complete with the ‘Mercy’ license plate.
Portelli and Butler have been together for two years and met at a bar.
Unlike Portelli, Butler prefers to stay out of the spotlight and lives a quiet life.
Despite her private nature, Portelli is a doting father, who regularly shares adorable photos of Mercy with his followers.
The LMCT+ founder recently praised Butler, noting her frugality despite having access to all his credit cards.
“She won’t spend a damn cent,” Portelli said, emphasizing her lack of interest in materialism and fame.
As a token of appreciation, he gave Butler an Aston Martin DBX, worth about $350,000, as a gift at her baby shower in November.
Portelli shared these insights on his good friend Troy Candy’s podcast, highlighting Butler’s personal and non-materialistic nature.
“She’s not on socials, she never posts, she’s one of those girls who is very quiet,” he added.
