Adidas is selling trainers with scuff marks for £170 – and shoppers are divided

As Brits look to kickstart 2024 with healthy eating plans and exercise regimes, they may be looking for a new pair of trainers to help them get active – but a new product from Adidas is sure to divide shoppers.

The sports giant is selling trainers that look like they have been deliberately soiled for as much as £170.

The white sneakers have gray scuffs on the side of the soles and brown spots on the front that look like mud.

Some buyers claim that the paint also flaked off their shoes, making them look even sadder.

One customer said angrily: 'Has a painted sole.

'And the paint comes off easily, leaving the white Styrofoam visible.

“Looks really ugly.”

Another said: 'I expected it to be a good fit but it wasn't.'

Meanwhile, a third added: 'Some of the cheapest quality I've ever experienced.'

Still, one person who liked the sneakers wrote, “They are really comfortable shoes and they look great too.”
