The 36-year-old 16-time Grammy Award winner is learning German so she can surprise fans with special sayings during her concerts.

Adele In Munich, Adele’s second concert residency and first European show since 2016, starts on August 2 and ends on August 31.

Her only European show for 2024, Adele In Munich, will take place twice a week at the Munich Messe, an 80,000-seat open-air arena.

An insider told The sun: ‘Adele has been thinking about what she’s going to do in Munich since April. She wants to converse with the crowd in German.

“She wants the audience to feel at home and show that she has made a respectful effort. But English fans need not worry. She will talk about her life and tell funny stories in her native language.”

Although tickets have been available since January, Adele In Munich is not yet sold out, with prices ranging from £431 for standard tickets to over £600 for VIP packages.

Adele announced her second concert residency on Instagram: ‘A few months ago I got a call about a series of summer shows.

I was happy with my shows in Hyde Park in London and my residency in Vegas so far, so I had no other plans.

‘But I was too curious not to pursue this idea and look into it – a one-off, custom-made pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I wanted to put on? Ohh!? Somewhere in the middle of Europe? In Munich?

‘That’s a bit random, but still amazing! Straight after the Euros? Come on England! With the Olympics next door? Keep going Simone! And some of my favourite artists performing too? Why… YES!! I haven’t played in Europe since 2016!

‘I can’t think of a better way to spend my summer and end this wonderful phase of my life and career with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer.
