Adele is all smiles as she joins fiance Rich Paul to watch her pal Beyonce’s birthday concert… but doesn’t appear to stick to silver dress code
Adele was all smiles when she was spotted attending her good friend Beyoncé’s birthday concert in Los Angeles on Monday night.
The 35-year-old singer was joined by her fiancé Rich Paul as the pair sat in a VIP box to watch the star-studded concert at Sofia Stadium with their friends.
The Renaissance show marked Beyoncé’s 42nd birthday, and the singer had asked concertgoers to wear all-silver outfits to celebrate her big day with her.
However, it appears that Adele opted not to wear silver, as she wore a black ensemble while in the VIP box with Rich.
Adele cut a classy figure in a long-sleeved black jacket, but added a touch of glitter with a pair of hoop earrings to complete her ensemble.

Her fiancé Rich cut an equally trendy figure in a black T-shirt and smart blazer, adding a little touch of silver to his look with a necklace.
He shielded his eyes with dark square sunglasses and was seen talking to Adele and their friends as they listened to the music.
Adele was seen on the show putting on an animated display as she smiled, laughed and made faces as she sat amongst the crowds.
Her appearance on the show in a black ensemble comes after Adele admitted she felt stressed about the all-silver dress code.
Beyonce had asked her fans to dress up as ‘disco balls’ if they attended the performance, with the singer asking concertgoers to pull out all the stops.
During her Weekends With Adele performance on Saturday, Adele opened up to her fans about the issues she had with the request.
Adele, who normally dresses in black for her shows, told the audience, “I’m going to Beyonce’s on Monday; I am very excited.

However, Adele had a change of heart and said she’d decided to commit to her Beyoncé-themed look, but it seemed she’d changed her mind again before the big night.
She said at the time, “I was up on Amazon until 3am last night buying glitter prom clothes. She asked everyone to dress up, so I’m going to look really cheap like a disco ball.
“It’s all coming from Amazon, and it’s coming in this weekend while I’m here, so God knows what I’m going to look like.”
The show with a capacity of over 70,000 attracted many stars as Lizzo, Kim Kardashian, Zendaya, Vanessa Hudgens and Kylie Jenner, among others, were also among the A-listers at the event.
Beyoncé not only ended the last of her three Renaissance Tour stops in LA on Monday, but also celebrated her 42nd birthday, with a special surprise guest taking the stage to sing Happy Birthday to her: Diana Ross.
The audience was very impressed when the 79-year-old diva took the stage in the evening, in a glamorous shimmering black dress.
She helped the crowd sing Happy Birthday just after 11pm, hours after rumors surfaced that she would be making a surprise appearance.
Diana came out to sing her song Love Hangover before wishing Queen Bey a happy birthday, while Beyoncé rushed over to give her a tearful hug.
“I’m here to celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday,” Diana said, as Beyoncé told her, “I love you.”
She led the audience in a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday, and after the song they hugged again, when Diana was heard to ask, “Were you surprised?”
‘Thank you so much! You are great! This is the legendary Diana Ross!’ Beyonce said as the crowd cheered for both living legends.
After the performance of Flaws and All, she gave an impassioned birthday speech, thanking the fans, her family, and the original members of her group Destiny’s Child.
‘My soul is full. I’m so thankful, I’m trying not to cry. I am thankful that I am alive. I am thankful to be on the podium. I’m thankful that I can look out and see your faces,’ she began.
“I am grateful to be able to provide a safe place for you all. I’m thankful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music, which heals you all,” she added.
She then thanked her parents Tina and Matthew Knowles and her husband Jay-Z, even referring to her 2016 hit album Lemonade.
