The 36-year-old singer and her partner, basketball agent Rich Paul, 42, secretly got engaged on Thursday after he proposed to her in her hometown of Tottenham in north London.
Adele was quick to share the happy news with her friends and family, who are expecting a grand wedding later next year.
A source said The sun: ‘Rich had planned the proposal to take place in her hometown and gave her a beautiful four-carat diamond ring.
The next evening they celebrated with champagne at the Chiltern Firehouse.

Adele and Rich were rumored to have tied the knot last year. She reportedly confirmed their engagement at her best friend Alan Carr’s comedy show in Los Angeles. Two audience members confirmed the news to Deuxmoi.
An audience member explained: ‘I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the audience if anyone had gotten married recently and Adele said ‘Yes’.’
Another audience member added of the “small and intimate show”: “When he asked if anyone had gotten married recently, she said ‘Yes’. Super cute in every way and super sweet, but then she dropped out right near the end.”
They added: ‘Adele was right behind me with a friend and had the best time. Her security only came to bring her snacks.
“She didn’t care if people knew she was there. She booed him – they’re best friends.”
Rich later responded to the marriage rumors, sharing how he and Adele “helped each other” during their two-year relationship.
Rich said the following about his partner on CBS Mornings: ‘She’s wonderful, I think she would agree that we’ve definitely helped each other.

Rich was then asked by CBS host Gayle King about the rumors that he and Adele have tied the knot.
The journalist asked if she should call Adele “Mrs. Paul” the next time she spoke to her.
Richard acted a little shy and said, “You can say whatever you want,” before adding that he’s not “the type of person to force anything on you.” [his] private life. It’s not for the media.’
During her Las Vegas concert in September, Adele called Rich her husband, leading to speculation that the two had tied the knot.
A woman in the audience yelled “Will you marry me” at the Rumor Has It singer during the show, as seen in a TikTok clip.

In another conversation with ELLE, she enthused, “I’ve never been so in love. I’m obsessed with him. I definitely want more kids.

Adele already has a 10-year-old son, Angelo, from her three-year marriage to Simon Konecki and told the Vegas crowd she was “ready to be a mother again soon.”

This comes amid talks about her returning to Britain after her ‘big break’ in the music world.
The Grammy winner will return to Las Vegas in October until her residency ends in November, and she confirmed she has “no plans” to make new music afterward.

Adele moved to Los Angeles in 2016, previously saying she did so to get more bang for her buck. But after eight years, little progress appears to have been made on the renovation of her lavish Beverly Hills mansion.
Adele’s assistant Rose Moon moved back to the UK a few weeks ago and is currently in the process of arranging the singer’s return, The Sun reported earlier this month.
A source said of the megastar’s return to London: ‘It’s all part of a wider return home and she’s said she’ll be back once her shows in Las Vegas finish in November.’
‘Rose has already moved back to the UK and Adele will follow her. Just like football, it looks like Adele is coming home.’
The source also claimed that Adele is “British through and through,” which has inspired her to return to her roots.
