Adelaide woman hit by car in Elizabeth South and left fighting for life

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car near a busy highway.
The accident happened at around 8pm on Wednesday at the corner of Ridley and Judd Roads in Elizabeth South, Adelaide.
Ambulance personnel took her to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Philip Highway was closed between Ridley and Judd Roads and traffic was prevented from entering the highway to or from the area for several hours while police were on scene.
