- A 16-year-old girl from the home was arrested and is expected to be charged
A man is fighting for his life after he is stabbed to death by a teenage girl during a Christmas night incident in north Adelaide.
Police were called to a house on Petherton Road in Andrews Farm shortly after 2:50 a.m. on Monday, Boxing Day, for reports of a domestic assault.
Officers arrived and reportedly found a 55-year-old male from the home suffering from stab wounds.
The man was rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
South Australia Police said the general public need not be concerned and confirmed that the teenager and the man knew each other.

A 16-year-old girl from the home was arrested at the scene.
Police are currently speaking with her and she is expected to be charged later on Monday.
