They claim their concerns are being ignored by school officials.

“This woman currently has easy access to the children at our school and I am very concerned about the other children,” the letter said.

“I can’t help but believe that if (Blancada) were a man, (she) would also be banned from school grounds and dealing with children (until the charges are resolved).

‘A teacher told us that Megan had been reported to school management and concerns had been raised about her, but these were ignored.’

However, the principal told The Advertiser that all proper protocols, as provided by South Australian Frpolice and the Ministry of Child Protection were followed.

Blancada was banned from all school grounds and facilities, the principal said.

“We were made aware of her allegations last year and received an update from the Ministry of Child Protection this year,” the director said.

‘(The ban) took place in a two-step process, where she was banned from (part of) our site from November or December… the police were fully informed and offered us advice on this.

“Blancada was able to take her own child to school, but was banned from the entire site when we found out her charges had been increased in February this year.”

The principal said the charges against Blancada did not relate to the school environment.

On Monday, Blancada appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court to be charged with sexual abuse of a boy under 16 and possession of child exploitation material.

Police alleged her offending took place between July 30, 2021 and November 6, 2023, in far north Adelaide, court documents show.

In online profiles, Blancada, 34, advertises herself as a fitness model and promotes her roles in films such as Hey Hey Its Esther and Wolf Creek.

Blancada claims to have modeled for Mitsubishi and Bank SA and is the author of a novel called Shadow Hunters: Shadows in the Wall.

In her online profile, the Adelaide-born model also says she “likes to keep her private life to herself while maintaining a low profile.”
