Young Sparky blows a fuse in ‘timer boomer electricians’ after opening another vandalized switch box from decades ago: ‘I’m dealing with spaghetti right now’

A young electrician has blurted out his thoughts on an older tradesman’s practices and workmanship after opening to discover a switch box with wires tangled everywhere.
Adelaide genius Lorenzo ‘Lorry’ Johns criticized the workmanship of ‘old school boomer electricians’ in a furious tirade, saying there was a huge difference between the quality of work done today compared to decades previous.
“(Lorry) had to share his take on old school boomer electricians and how they used to wire up switchboard panels,” company Deionno Electrical wrote on TikTok.
“We try to be super neat and dress everything up so that we can close the panels without a problem. Every switchboard we see wired by veterans is absolute garbage.

The electrician showed the messy wires in the breaker box and said that all the sparks from previous generations left their job as a “breakfast for dogs”.
The video opens with the Adelaide trainee standing in front of an open distribution box at the side of a property before turning to the camera and warning that he was about to “say something controversial”.

Johns said older electricians needed to “control themselves” and criticized the work as “awful”.
He went on to explain that all the switches the company was called in to look at were the same.
‘Just a doggie breakfast behind the board. And then I have to come here and fix everything,” she said.
In the video, his co-worker and boss Joe Deionno joked about the nickname ‘boomers’ for the older generation, hinting that their work as sparklers was of low quality.
‘And then the electric half is dubious, like you need to control yourself, huh?’ Mr. Johns quipped back.
“He must have gotten (sic) his electrical license off the back of a cereal box honestly,” the apprentice quipped.
As he continued to rant, an edited ‘swear counter’ in the video continued to roll up, showing Johns racking up a whopping 31 expletives in two minutes.
“I’m dealing with spaghetti right now because all you old fuckers just didn’t give a shit back then,” he said.

The owner then chimed in to say that “my Gen Z trainee is better than all of you boomer cowboys.”
“He eats avocado on toast and drinks his espressos and can still hook up a switchboard better than you boomers,” Deionno added.
The video then showed Johns standing in front of a tidy switchboard, the wires taped together.
“This is what your switchboard should look like,” he said.
‘I’ve got a nice loop here, it pushes all the wires back and here, nice and neat.
“So instead of just drilling into the back of the switchboard and just sticking the c****s in there so you can’t even open it, this is what it should probably look like.”
Finishing his tirade, the trainee turned and flashed a cheeky smile and a thumbs up at the camera.
Online viewers found the rant hilarious, with most agreeing with what Mr. Johns was saying.
“You are not wrong to say that the end result of your work has never seen a fuse box this good,” wrote one.
“I have to admit that every young Trad that comes to my house ends up fixing some really lame work from the last 20 or 30 years,” another commented.
