Adam Sandler has been a celebrity for over thirty years, and even HE is impressed by Taylor Swift.
The 57-year-old actor talked about how he interacts with other celebrities who appear on television Conan O’Brien needs a friend on SiriusXM Wednesday.
O’Brien, 60, said he is generally unimpressed by people who have become famous in recent years.
‘What I’ve discovered is that people can be absolute icons, can be the biggest stars in the world, but if they came along five years ago I would be thrilled to meet them, but they don’t have that effect on me. O’Brien said.
The talk show host added, “I’m not like, ‘Oh my, oh my God,’ you know, like I would be of everyone I watched growing up.”

Sandler, father of daughters Sadie, 17, and Sunny, 15, with wife Jackie, 49, said the Grammy-winning artist, 34, made an exception to the rule.
“You know what – Taylor Swift,” the Brooklyn, New York native told O’Brien. “Because what she means to my kids, I’m a little nervous about it. Just because I don’t want to ruin it for my children.’
The Spaceman star said he gets a little confused around the pop superstar, who remains at the top of pop culture with a huge, loyal fan base and an insatiable public interest in both her work and her personal life .
Sandler said, “I’m kind of like, ‘Taylor, Taylor,’ like I’m talking a little too loud or something. I’m not staying as cool as I can.’
O’Brien said, ‘Yes, I can see that. Yeah, she’s, I mean, she’s on a whole different level now.”
Sandler said Swift’s popularity was comparable to the Beatlemania that spread around the world in the 1960s.
“People talk about The Beatles and her,” Sandler said. “I mean, man, so many big hits,”
The Wedding Singer star said that “there isn’t a word” of her songs that his daughters “don’t know.”

Sandler, who was honored with the People’s Icon Award at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles earlier this month, attended Swift’s concert series in Los Angeles last summer.
He and his daughters attended a show during Swift’s Eras Tour at SoFi Stadium last August.
Sandler also attended the premiere of The Eras Tour: The Movie at The Grove in Los Angeles in October.
