Adam Reynolds suffers head knock for Brisbane Broncos vs Melbourne Storm
BREAKING NEWS: Brisbane Broncos are nervously awaited due to fitness of Adam Reynolds after pistol-wielding halfback suffered a nasty headbutt during clash with Melbourne Storm
Brisbane Broncos took a collective nervous breath after Adam Reynolds was forced off with a nasty headbutt in their Thursday night game against Melbourne Storm.
Reynolds tried to get the ball on the ground after Herbie Farnworth gave chase with Harry Grant, but the former Souths star failed to score a try midway through the first half at AAMI Park.
The bunker then ruled a penalty attempt after Grant shoved Farnworth into the back, but attention turned to Reynolds after his head hit the ground heavily as he attempted to make contact with the ball.
Reynolds was taken off on the stretcher and taken away for a category two HIA. The Broncos have confirmed he struggled with a neck problem and lost feeling in his hands and feet.
It is still unclear whether he will return to the field for the rest of the game.
