Adam Peaty’s ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro shares emotional post just one day before Olympian announced engagement to Holly Ramsay

Adam Peaty’s ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro shared a sweet message on her social media page in honor of the former couple’s son’s fourth birthday.

The 29-year-old British swimmer announced his engagement to Holly, the 24-year-old daughter of Gordon Ramsay, on Thursday.

A day earlier, Eiri paid tribute to their son George by sharing a series of sweet snaps on Instagram, with Holly subsequently liking the post.

She wrote in the caption: ‘Happy birthday to the brightest star in the universe. Four years of the warmest and brightest light. Four years of the most glorious and infectious joy.

“Four years of the most gentle and chaotic energy. What an honor to know you and to know that I am yours and you are mine.”

Adam also wished their son a happy birthday, the day before announcing his engagement to Holly.

His post read: ‘Happy 4th birthday my beautiful George. I can never put into words how much I love you. You are growing so fast and it is incredible to watch you learn, play, laugh, show emotion, care and get excited for wonder. I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for you and hopefully I can help you through it.’

The former couple welcomed son George together in 2020, but split in 2022.

His son George was just two years old at the time. Adam announced the news on social media, writing: ‘Eiri and George, I am sorry to have disappointed you. My only interest is the well-being of our family during this difficult time.’

Eirianedd announced the split on her own social media, predicting that she faced an “incredibly difficult” future.

Their split was partly blamed on the ill-fated ‘Strictly curse’ after Adam caused a stir on the dancefloor due to his on-screen chemistry with partner Katya Jones.

However, the two now appear to be on good terms.

This happened after Holly and Adam announced their engagement on social media.

The couple, who have been together for three years, shared the news in adorable Instagram posts on Thursday, with Holly showing off her stunning yellow diamond engagement ring in snaps from their holiday in Mallorca.

Holly and Adam complemented each other’s posts by using Bible verses after the Olympic swimmer revealed that religion saved him from his addiction.

Influencer Holly was the first to share the news when she posted a series of sweet snaps together, writing: ‘I’m getting married to my best friend. I honestly can’t put into words how I feel right now. I still remember [sic] how wide my smile was the morning I came home from my first date with you.

“Thank you for making the little girl inside me feel loved, seen, and happier than ever. I love you and I can’t wait to be your wife.”

She then referred to Adam’s son George, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro.

Holly continued: ‘I promise I will always be there for you and George, I am so grateful. [sic] to be in his life and I can’t wait for more.

“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13.”

Adam also shared a loving post announcing the news after deciding to take a break from swimming for a while.

In his heartfelt post, he praised his fiancée for sticking by his side through his “most difficult times” following his much-publicised battle with alcoholism and mental health issues.

He wrote: ‘I can’t believe you are going to be my wife. I am truly the luckiest man on earth to have such a gentle, caring and beautiful woman by my side. You fill my heart to the brim and give my soul peace.

‘You were there for me when I was at my lowest point and helped me understand myself and penetrate my own darkness.

“You’ve also celebrated the high points, which have been so many, because for the first time in my life I’m happy with the man I’ve become. You’ve gone to church with me and, without a doubt, you’ve joined the incredible community we have there.”

Adam continued: ‘Your family has always been so generous with their time, emotion and trust. I can’t wait to be with them too.

‘I have always believed that when two people are engaged and later married, we are no longer two people, but one whole. It is a great privilege to share that with you.

“When I saw you show the love you gave to the most important person in my life, George, there was no doubt from day one that you would one day be my wife. I look forward to our life together and the many challenges we will face.

I promise I will always love you with all my heart.

The couple were immediately inundated with congratulations, with Holly’s famous father Gordon Ramsay writing: ‘Congratulations to you both! We are so happy and loving this moment! Welcome to the family’

Gordon, who is thought to be worth £610million, has six children with wife Tana, 49, Megan, 26, twins Holly and Jack, 24, Tilly, 22, Oscar, five, and Jesse, eight months.

Holly is an influencer with 347,000 followers and works with brands such as Space NK, Net A Porter and Charlotte Tilbury.

Holly and Adam met in 2021 on Strictly Come Dancing, where Adam starred opposite Holly’s sister Matilda.

The influencer revealed a new tattoo in January of this year that she matched with Adam’s.

After studying fashion at Ravensbourne University, she dropped out after a year and was admitted to the Nightingale Hospital in Marylebone, after suffering PTSD from sexual abuse.

Some time later, in 2019, she signed with Established Models, a modeling agency based in London.

In the summer of 2021, Holly launched a podcast called 21& Over, but it was canceled after 13 episodes.
