There are ridiculous conspiracy theories circulating online about the attempted assassination, including one from HBO’s Insecure actress Amanda Seales, who posted a video claiming the attack was staged.
“That shit was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President,” Seales said.

Video footage captured the terrifying moment the gunman opened fire and the 78-year-old fell to the ground, before four Secret Service agents rushed to the stage and dove on top of the former president.
Staggering footage shows Trump crouched on the ground as officers protect him, blood trickling down his cheek.
“Where did the blood come from? So in theaters, in movies, they have what are called blood pellets. People use them for Halloween,” Seales claimed.
‘It’s basically a drop of fake blood that you put in your mouth, and when you crush it, the blood comes out.
‘Frankly, Trump’s small hands wouldn’t react by raising his fist in triumph if an attempt were actually made on his life.
“I think this was done to show his strength against Biden’s vulnerability.”

A staffer for a Democratic congresswoman from Mississippi was fired after she posted on social media that she wished the shooter had had better aim.
Jacqueline Marsaw, 61, field director for Mississippi Congressman Bennie G. Thompson, shared a disgusted post on Facebook about the attack.
She shared: ‘I don’t condone violence but please take some shooting lessons so you don’t miss next time. Oops, that wasn’t me speaking.’
Marsaw, the president and vice president of a local NAACP in Natchez, Mississippi, drew the attention of Republicans across the country. She has since deleted the post and her account, but screenshots have been reposted on social media.
She has since been fired. “I was made aware of a message from a staff member and she is no longer employed by me,” Thompson said.
