An active shooter left multiple victims at a Super 8 motel in rural Minnesota, according to local reports.

Police say the gunman remains at large and have ordered people to take shelter near Big Lake Rd and Highway 33 in Cloquet, about 20 miles from Duluth.

Authorities also reported multiple gunshot victims.

“An active shooter incident is underway and the suspect remains at large. “Remain calm and take immediate action to ensure your safety,” authorities said in a news release.

“If you are currently in the affected area, please seek shelter immediately. If possible, go to a room with a lock, close all windows and doors, and stay quiet. Call 911 if you see anything suspicious.”
