Absurd ‘Fake Melania’ theories emerge claiming a body double in sunglasses showed up to vote with Donald Trump
Melania Trump’s appearance as she stood at her husband’s side to cast her vote in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Tuesday has sparked conspiracy theories.
The former First Lady was seen wearing a floor-length, black and white polka dot dress by Christian Dior, the same dress she wore during her September interview on Fox News while promoting her memoir.
Her hair was blow-dried to perfection and Melania completed the look with black heels and giant sunglasses.
But online, some wrongly claimed the 54-year-old mother-of-one had been swapped with a body double for the cameras, with some pointing to the large sunglasses she wore indoors.
“This is absolutely and categorically not Melania,” one X user wrote. “This imposter has been wearing sunglasses indoors all day.”

“Only #MAGA is dumb enough to believe this c***,” the liberal user continued.
“How can a man who walks around with a fake wife even be a candidate for president?”
Others also shared the absurd theory, with popular liberal report BrooklynDad suggesting there is a “fake Melania” standing next to the Republican candidate, and another supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris writing: “They are making it very difficult for me to stay.” silent today about fake Melania.’

A self-described drag queen from New York City also said she was “excited that he brought Fake Melania back one last time for its series finale.”
Meanwhile, after the Florida performance, Melania posted an “I Voted” sticker on each of her social media pages, along with an American flag.
She spoke only a few words at the election site and told reporters she was feeling “very good.”

But former President Donald Trump, wearing his signature “Make America Great Again” hat, answered many questions and denounced reports of chaos at polling stations across the country.
“It’s crazy,” he said. “All I hear is that it will take a long time in certain states.”
He specifically mentioned Pennsylvania, the battleground state that could determine the winner, where polls show the race is currently tied.
“I hear they won’t have an answer in Pennsylvania for another two or three days. “I think it’s an absolute shame if that’s the case,” Trump said.
“In certain states it will take a long time and it won’t even be close. It won’t be that close. They say I will win the state, but it will take a long time to certify it.”

Many DailyMail.com columnists have now said that Trump appears to be in the lead nationally as the polls close.
But top pollster Nate Silver has said he thinks Democrat Kamala Harris will come out on top.
He said it is ‘literally closer than the toss of a coin’, with Harris winning by only a small percentage in most of his matches.
According to his model, Harris won the Electoral College in 50.015 percent of simulations, compared to Trump’s 49.985 percent.
That equates to Harris winning 40,012 simulations, while Trump won 39,718.
Silver added that he had never seen anything like it during his years of predicting elections.
