ABC star Sarah Ferguson takes aim at Joe Biden – before her comment backfires: ‘Nasty’
ABC star Sarah Ferguson has criticized US President Joe Biden after a disastrous debate with Donald Trump.
President Biden repeatedly struggled with his words during Friday’s debate, struggling to find his words as he spoke about various policy issues.
However, the president’s stance changed the next day at a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, when he attacked Trump even more forcefully in front of cheering fans.
While some were happy to see Biden recover, many were left wondering how the president’s conduct had made such a dramatic turnaround in such a short time.
Sarah Ferguson, the host of ABC’s flagship current affairs program 7:30, claimed the change was due to Biden using a “teleprompter” rather than being placed on the spot.
However, the criticism backfired on Fegugson, who many labeled her comment as hypocritical.
“He’s got a lot to say now, after what was admittedly a terrible first debate, and you know, Sarah, I think he’s doing a great job,” was the comment.
“If he wants notes, directions via teleprompter, so what?”
A second added: ‘Jeez, I’d expect better from someone who uses one themselves. It’s actually quite gross.’

The world tuned in to the debate between the president and Donald Trump on Thursday, only to see Biden mumble through some talking points
‘That’s a mean comment. What’s your point,” a third asked.
“Like you don’t use one every night? Puhlease,” said a fourth.
Trump and Biden each held competing rallies the day after the debate on Thursday, with the president’s event in North Carolina making headlines for Biden’s apparent higher energy.
The president used the meeting to allay widespread concerns as some of his closest allies, including Obama, openly stood by him despite admitting his performance was poor.
“I know I’m not a young man. To state the obvious,” Biden said, standing next to First Lady Jill, wearing a Christian Siriano dress emblazoned with the word “vote.”
‘People, I no longer walk as easily as I used to. I no longer speak as fluently as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to.’
The president’s stance changed the next day at a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, with Trump more clearly attacked in front of cheering fans.

“But I know what I know, I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. And I know how to do this job. I know how to get things done,” the president argued.
“I give you my word as Biden. I would not run again if I did not believe with all my heart and soul that I could do this job,” he said.
In a shocking move, Donald Trump had something nice to say about President Biden’s comeback speech in North Carolina after his disastrous performance at the debate.
“His speech on Friday was better… but AMERICA, with all the dangers lurking, needs to ask itself: Do we really want a president who suffocates? I don’t think so!” he added.
