ABC is accused of plotting against Donald Trump at Alabama vs. Georgia game
ABC News is accused of deliberately limiting coverage of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during a high-profile college football game.
The former president attended the highly anticipated college football game between the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia on Saturday despite major concerns about security measures.
In images shared by Trump adviser Dan Scavino Jr. the former president was captured in his element, throwing boxes of popcorn at fans.
Social media users took to X to blast ABC, claiming the network deliberately avoided showing Trump.
“It’s ridiculous that Disney-owned ABC barely shows Trump during the game. One super fast camera shot, almost no mentions. Complete bias,” said one viewer.

According to critics, Trump only appeared very briefly during ABC’s broadcast

Some users drew comparisons to coverage of pop star Taylor Swift’s recent high-profile NFL appearances.
“Good old ABC only showed President Trump once. If Swifty had been there, every other scan of the crowd would have started with her. A man FOR ALL AMERICANS,” one fan wrote.
‘It struck me after the game why they didn’t show President Trump on TV anymore like Taylor Swift. They only showed him in the private box once, and that was from a distance. The game was on ABC, the David Muir, Linsey Davis network,” said another.
When the game ended with Alabama emerging with a 41-34 victory, outraged viewers questioned the network’s motives.
“The game is on ABC and there is no mention of Trump. Can you believe it without mentioning that President Trump is at the game? Maybe it’s for security reasons,” one person said.
Another chimed in: ‘ABC shows trump for a moment haha insane @abc.’

The Secret Service set up catwalks for Trump to get in and out, while at times he was swamped by watching and cheering fans.
Some defended the network, with one commenter asking: ‘Why on earth would they show him more? It’s a football match.’
Meanwhile, during the game, the former president prompted an eruption of applause from Southeastern Conference (SEC) fans – typically a more conservative group – as he arrived before heading into an apparently “bulletproof,” glass-laden luxury box.
In the luxurious, glass-laden suite, the former president was joined by Herschel Walker, Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr. and more.
Protective barriers are a new feature of his public events, following the many near-assassinations on the former president’s life recently. He also had a huge Secret Service detail to accompany him and watch over the rowdy fans.
The pivotal showdown between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs is one of the most anticipated college games of the season, and regardless of the security implications, Trump didn’t want to miss it.
Videos of him arriving at the arena show Trump throwing food at adoring fans chanting “Four more years!” sing.

Then fans broke into “USA, USA, USA” chants as the former president posed for photos and exchanged handshakes.
The arena was a cauldron of football and MAGA passion as Trump made his appearance at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, which has a capacity of more than 100,000 fans.
Waving and donning his signature blue suit and red tie combo — red is a strategic color displayed on both teams’ uniforms — the former president then shuffled through his gated walkway to his ballistic glass box.
Trump was invited to the game by Alabama businessman Ric Mayers and was joined in the suite by Alabama Senators Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville, ALGOP Chairman John Wahl and friends and family of Mayers.
