Abbie Chatfield’s ex Konrad Bień-Stephen reveals his bold career plans – while vowing never to do reality TV again
Konrad Bień-Stephen plans to expand his career by studying to be an actor.
The former Bachelorette star, 32, said he is done with reality shows and has enrolled in a short acting course with a view to moving into scripted productions one day.
“I don’t know if reality TV is really my thing, but I really enjoy productions and I like being a part of that whole environment,” he shared Yahoo lifestyle on Thursday.
“I love everything from hair and makeup to filming and all that stuff. I would really like to do more things with scripts or hosting,” he added.
Konrad, a carpenter by trade, studies at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Melbourne to hone his craft.

‘It’s really fun. That’s something I do as a little hobby, hoping that one day maybe I can do some kind of acting or presenting,” he said.
Konrad broke up with ex-girlfriend Abbie Chatfield in September last year, shortly before flying to Buenos Aires to film the Channel 10 show The Challenge.
“Abbie and I had broken up a month before we moved in [to film] so I was very single,” he shared The Daily Telegraph at the time.

“I didn’t go in there looking for love or a relationship or anything. That wasn’t my thinking when I went in.”
He said he and Abbie had “parted amicably” and had “both moved on with their lives.”
Abbie, 27, shared a cryptic post on Wednesday about ‘missing someone’ – seven months after her split from Konrad.
The TV and radio host posted a photo to Instagram of a sign that read, “Missing someone is not an excuse to get back into a toxic cycle.”
While it’s unclear who the post was about, her last confirmed relationship was with Konrad.
Konrad is now dating the singer Thelma Plum.
