Abbie Chatfield steps down from co-hosting Fridayz Live tour because she doesn’t want to work with headline act Jason Derulo amid sexual harassment allegations

Abbie Chatfield has announced that she will not return as co-host of the RnB Fridayz Live tour this year.

The podcast host, 28, revealed on Friday that she is stepping down from the role because she does not feel comfortable working alongside headline act Jason Derulo amid sexual harassment allegations against the singer.

Aspiring singer Emaza Gibson filed a lawsuit against the Whatcha Say singer in Los Angeles earlier this month, saying in the legal filing that Derulo went cold after she refused to spend time with him or drink alcohol, routinely berating her in front of production staff and, on one occasion, she was angrily attacked in front of her mother.

According to the bombshell case, Gibson was left “traumatized” after she signed a deal with Derulo and later realized he expected sex in return.

Derulo, 34, has described the claims as “false and hurtful” and said he is “against all forms of harassment.”

Chatfield made her shocking announcement on Instagram on Friday morning.

‘I’m sorry to disappoint everyone who wanted to see me on Fridayz Live this year. I wish the other acts in the line-up all the best for their shows and am disappointed that I cannot be there.”
