TV and radio presenter Abbie Chatfield has revealed that she no longer likes the way her body looks after losing weight effortlessly.
The 27-year-old looks much slimmer than she did a few months ago, which has led trolls to falsely accuse her of using diabetes drug Ozempic.
Ozempic, also known as Wegovy, was originally formulated to treat type 2 diabetes, but is also prescribed off-label for weight loss.
The drug contains semaglutide, which reduces appetite by increasing the feeling of fullness after eating. This essentially guarantees a calorie deficit as the user is less hungry.
Abbie told the Something to talk about podcast she didn’t take the weight loss injection and was uncomfortable with people speculating about her changing body.

There are “many reasons” she lost weight, Abbie explained, including taking other medications, walking and exercising more often, and eating just one meal a day because of her busy schedule.
“It’s really confronting to me when people say, ‘You’ve lost too much weight,'” she said.
“I don’t really like how much weight I’ve lost. You can see my ribcage; it gives me a strange feeling.’

“I don’t like the way my body looks anymore,” she added.
“I’ve been getting comments from strangers saying I look great, or feigning concern from them in my DMs…I find the allegations about why I lost weight bizarre.”
Feeling self-conscious about her weight is a setback for Abbie, who said last year she had finally learned to stop being critical of her own body.
“I woke up every day between the ages of 13 and 24 and analyzed my body,” she said in July 2022.
‘I don’t think about it anymore. Maybe it’s a matter of self confidence, growing up and not caring what anyone else thinks. It’s quite a relief.’

Abbie earlier Yahoo lifestyle it wasn’t always easy to be positive.
“I think I grew up in those days when Mischa Barton is on the front page [of magazines] – I think that led to a lot of eating disorder tendencies,” she said.
Mischa, who is best known for starring in the teen drama The O.C., was criticized in the tabloids in the mid to late 2000s for her very thin figure.
“That was really just the “normal” culture of going to a Catholic girls’ school, where everyone would have these water bottles and we’d put a splash of lemon water in them, with gum and an apple, and that’s what we’d be eating in a day ,’ Abbie said.
This confession from Abbie is a setback in her self-love journey, as she said last year that she had finally learned to stop being critical of her body
