Abbie Chatfield has revealed she has a bizarre phobia of shops that sell shoes.
The former The Bachelor contestant, 28, took to TikTok on Thursday to confess to her 434,000 followers.
Abbie filmed herself walking through a shopping area and asked her fans, “Does anyone else actually get scared of going into sneaker stores?”
“I really need new runners and I just walked past Hype and hung around the front because I was so afraid they would say, ‘You’re not a sneakerhead. You don’t know.’
The influencer, who hosts the It’s A Lot podcast, admitted she knows her fear is irrational.

The influencer filmed herself walking through a shopping area and told her fans: ‘I really need new runners and I just walked past Hype and hung outside the door because I was so scared they would say, ‘You’re not sneaker head. You do not know.”
“It’s never happened before but it scares me so much so I’m going to go to a generic Rebel Sport or something because I’m so scared to go to a sneaker store,” Abbie added.
The FBoy Island host found plenty of support in the comments, with many of her fans admitting they had the same bizarre fear.
“Haha, yeah… I have to buy online,” said one commenter, while another claimed, “This exact thing happened to me yesterday. I walked into Foot Locker and immediately walked out because I was scared.”
“It’s never happened before but it scares me so much so I’m going to go to a generic Rebel Sport or something because I’m so scared to go to a sneaker store,” Abbie added.
Another said: ‘Yes, I’m in my mid 30s and recently tried on sneakers at JD Sports and Hype and felt so [self] consciously in my skinny jeans and look like Jerry Seinfeld in jeans and joggers.’
“I’m struggling with this right now!” someone else replied.
“I was always tomboyish and now a 35-year-old mom who loves this casual sneaker movement but doesn’t have the guts to buy one for Mother’s Day herself,” she added.
It comes after Abbie was recently left devastated when she discovered her new puppy Daisy had ‘destroyed’ her sex toys.
She revealed via Instagram Stories earlier this month that the spaniel mix dog had chewed through two of her ‘favorite vibrators’.

She shared photos and videos of the destruction, showing followers what was left of the adult toys, while asking if any of her fans had experienced something similar.
“So I love my puppy so much, but I wonder why she felt the need to break not one but two of my favorite vibrators,” she said.
‘My boyfriend has been away for a few days. I was excited to use these tonight. It is well. It’s so fine. It is so nice.’
The podcaster then shared photos of Daisy-esque content, writing, “Did your puppy destroy a vibe of yours? I wish she could get a job and replace it.”
Abbie welcomed Daisy, a cocker spaniel-cross-clumber spaniel, to her family and her other spaniel dog named Walter last month.
