Though she couldn’t make it to the Sydney ceremony in person, Abbie looked positively elated as she posed for an “acceptance” video on Instagram hours later.
The clip showed Abbie playing on the beach in a very low-cut zebra print bathing suit, holding a coconut.
She began by pretending the coconut was a trophy, before sardonically thanking her mother, the managers, and her ADHD diagnosis for making her “interesting and fun.”
“Best day ever Eva,” Abbie captioned the clip.
Abbie joked that her award was more important than those given to bona fide actors and TV stars, because it meant people really liked the work she did.
He ended the video by announcing that he was going to celebrate by having some margaritas and swimming.
She also uploaded a photo to Instagram of herself clutching the coconut, with the trophy superimposed on top.
In the caption, the podcaster wrote: ‘AHHHH!! How amazing. I just won the AACTA Audience Choice Award for Best TV Personality. The new shape of the trophy is interesting, but I’ll take it!’

Abbie raved about the success of her television career.
‘I can’t believe I can do this and have the support that I have AND be nominated alongside such ICONS. Love you.’
