Abbie Chatfield announces she’s freezing her eggs to have a baby
Abbie Chatfield announces she’s freezing her eggs to have a baby later in life after revealing she’s in her ‘hoe era’ and won’t date a man for more than three months
Abbie Chatfield revealed on Tuesday that she will be freezing her eggs so she can have a child later in life.
Speaking on her podcast It’s A Lot, Chatfield, 27, said she used to be “adamant” about not having kids, but has recently changed her mind.
“All my friends and I are almost 30 and nowhere near kids,” she told her guest Linda Marigliano.
“We were all very adamant that we didn’t want kids in our early to mid-twenties, and now we think we might want kids.”
She continued, “Then I said, ‘Well, maybe I should start freezing my eggs.’ Because I’ll be 28 next week.’

The serious decision comes after Abbie revealed earlier this year that she only dates men for three months at a time to avoid getting into a relationship.
She told Who magazine: “I said I have a three-month appointment rule. If I meet someone, I’ll be in it for three months.’
Abbie, who divorced her ex Konrad Bień-Stephen in September after being in an open relationship for a year, plans to remain single for the next 12 months.
The radio host, who currently avoids relationships like the plague, decided she’s too insecure about her future not to take a precaution

However, she is still open to “casual” dating multiple men.
“So I’m dating, but just very, very casually — and definitely with more than one person at a time, because I’m not… I don’t want a relationship,” she said.
“It actually gives me anxiety. The thought of it makes me want to run.”

Speaking on her podcast, Abbie admitted that she’s tired of just “dating the first person you hook up with,” which is why she keeps a schedule.
‘Oh my God. This is literally why I have my schedule, why I’m in my hoeing era, and why I’m not getting into a relationship,” she said.
“I’m actually done bringing random c**ts to Christmas.”
She continued, “That’s what happens. You just take the first person you hook up with. And then you think, “Whatever. I think I see you every day now. I think we’re together.”
