Abbey Gelmi announces engagement to AFL star Kane Lambert as she shows off stunning diamond ring ahead of 2023 Brownlow Medal

Channel Seven presenter Abbey Gelmi announced her engagement to former AFL star Kane Lambert on Monday evening ahead of the 2023 Brownlow Medal.

The glamorous WAG, 32, shared the exciting news by posting a photo gallery on Instagram as he got ready for the red carpet.

One photo showed a glamorous Abbey waving her hand at the camera to reveal her striking diamond engagement ring.

The raven-haired beauty beamed as she proudly showed off her big new sparkler.

Many of Abbey’s famous friends and fans quickly noticed and commented on the huge ring.

“Congratulations on the engagement, my love. Also, put an end to that Brownlow look,” said model Nikki Phillips.

“STUN,” added fellow WAG Jesinta Franklin.

“I’m just waiting for everyone to notice the ring,” joked football star Nathan Broad’s wife, Tayla.

Abbey then showed off her engagement ring on the Brownlow red carpet as she stunned in a pink strapless ball gown.

Abbey first sparked rumors she was dating the recently retired Richmond star, 31, in May 2021.

The pair were reportedly attending Sam Mac’s book launch together in Melbourne at the time, and were said to have been introduced by Love Island Australia’s Tayla Broad.

The Daily Telegraph reported that the pair started dating after Abbey made the move from Melbourne to Sydney.

The lovebirds welcomed their first child in March.

Abbey shared the happy news on Instagram, along with a black and white photo of her cradling the newborn in the hospital.

“Louis James Lambert came into the world 8.3.23,” Abbey wrote alongside the image.
