The couple married at the Stapleford Park hotel in Leicestershire in 2011, two years after announcing their engagement.

The Liverpool beauty added: ‘The Maldives is a magical place, so renewing our vows there was perfect. It still feels like a dream.

Peter and Abbey began dating in 2006, but broke up briefly during the European Cup and the footballer issued a statement at the time.
